I love animals and I have always had animals. I had some large dogs and horses when I was younger. But when I moved away to college I could not take my animals with me. I had to leave them at home. I missed them each day. So, I found some new animals at the nearby pet store. I looked around and found a hamster and bird that I really liked. I bought them and we walked home to my apartment.

While in college I moved around several times and had to move my animals. One of these relocation was several thousand of miles way. Since I had done shorter relocation with my animals, I thought this would not be much different. However, I had underestimated the issues involved with moving animals several thousands of miles away. As much as I wanted to I would not be able to move the animals myself as I needed to be away during the move.
