No. Small amounts of occasional fumes will NOT kill your parrot.

You can try using a pumice stone, but you can seriously damage the porcelain very easily if you don't know how.

Your house, your toilet, your parrot, your money

A pumice stone is gonna leave scratches in your bowl! there are toilet cleaners you can use without killing the bird, i had birds for years and never killed them after cleaning the bathroom, just put the cleaner in turn the fan on or open the bath window and shut the door when you leave it to soak.

You can try adding water to the toilet bowl to raise the water level above the ring, then dropping a couple denture cleaner tablets in the bowl and let it sit overnight. It works on some types of stain rings.

There are tones of degreaser products on the market. I would recommend Stanley degreaser sold at almost any department store. I know, once they are baked on it's hard. With a good degreaser, letting it soak for a bit and then some elbo grease it should come up.

The easiest way is to blow your pilot light out. Then spray easy off on that area & scrub. It won't hurt to have your pilot light off for the short period of time that your need to clean this area. Its better than letting this area build up with grease, and risk & grease fire! Don't forget to relight your pilot once its cleaned.

Coin collectors do not recommend cleaning coins because if collectible/valuable coins are being cleaned or harshly cleaned, they will be worthless and will be worth face value plus the metal they contain but not the numismatic value.

First, if this is part of a coin collection, I would strongly advise you NOT to clean off the coins! This could harm the coin's numismatic value!

But if these are ordinary coins you intend to spend, or use in jewelry, most metal cleaners will work. Try something like Brasso or Flitz.

If these are collectible, do _not_ clean them. Cleaning damages the surface of the coins, and kills any collector value they might have. People who suggest putting them in Coke are, in fact, suggesting you dunk them in an acid. Does acid dipping sound like a good thing to do to a collectible?

If these aren't collectible, and you're talking about cleaning pocket change, then yes, Coke will work. But when it's a collectible, the cleaning comes at a price. The acid (or abrasive, for anybody about to suggest toothpaste, baking soda, or something else) etches the surface of the coin. It changes the way light reflects off the surface, and a collector or dealer can spot a cleaned coin a mile away--and discounts it accordingly.

Cleaning a silver coin is the worst thing to do here. Coin collectors do not recommend cleaning coins because if collectible/valuable coins are being cleaned or harshly cleaned, they will be worthless and will be worth face value plus the metal (for example silver) they contain but not the numismatic value.

Don't. If it is a coin in your collection, do NOT clean it. You will destroy its collectible value. And anything you would use to clean it actually removes some of the silver, believe it or not.

Toothpaste If this coin is worth something i would not clean it because if you wanted to check it say like a coin dealer that would degrade the coin. Mean it could make it worth less. :-)

Add a little water to bicarb to make a paste and use this to polish your silver for a brilliant shine.

You can also dip half a potato in a bicarb solution and then use it to rub away rust on cutlery, or anything else metal.

Having supplies is the most important thing. If you have had your period for a while you will know which products you prefer, how heavy your flow is and if you prefer tampons or pads. When you have just started I recommend using pads, talk to a trusted adult, best friend or sister about which products you should use. Or stick to the regular ones for your age group. Order free samples so you can try them all [don't try them at school or work because it would be better to leak at home then in public].

some people feel clean after everything is put away, though sometimes that's only possible if you get rid of some not needed things. http://www.missminimalist.com has some advice that's helpful when you need to decrease what you own.

Sometimes I've found taking everything (or as much as possible) out of a given room, then cleaning said room (with soap and a vacuum and such) then putting back the things you need helps.

as for the other one, a good old fashion shower and bar of soap can help you there.

Well as for sorting and organizing. Group like things together, get rid of trashed things donate what is not or has not been used. Use bins (plastic or baskets) it's easier to keep track of things if they have a place.

Key is to downsized, keep only what you need, sort away (back of closet, garage) what you want.

Hair: you may want to try a moisturizing line like Pantene, deep condition treatments.

Just sit quietly for a while and look around your room. Look at the way things are arranged in your room and soon you will hit upon ideas to improve them. Make a mental note of these changes that you wish and implement and start with it. It is important to have an idea and plans before you execute the task, else it will take long time and you may not be able to make much improvement.

Few tips: keep all the books in one place and ensure that they are categorized in groups, you may also keep the stationary items near this place, get rid of all those items that you do not use or need them immediately.

Also, it is good to have clean surrounding around your house. Else, you might have come out of your room fresh but the clutters outside might have an adverse effect upon you. It is best if you can get this done by yourself, or hire a professional.

Any material that was exposed to radioactivity from the reactors and is now radioactive itself must be removed and stored somewhere safe until its radiation levels return to normal. This includes dirt, water, buildings, clothing, etc. etc.

Fortunately most of the radioactive material that did escape from the reactors isn't very radioactive. The radiation will dissipate naturally over a matter of months.

The reactors themselves that suffered a (partial) meltdown will need to be removed as they aren't really useful as reactors anymore. These will be quite dangerously radioactive and will be for quite some time. So they'll have to be dealt with in the same way any other expended fuel rods from the reactors are dealt with.

Chernobyl, Russia, and Fukushima, Japan, were the worst ever nuclear accidents. Google either and you can learn a lot about how to clean up a nuclear accident.

Chernobyl occurred 25 years ago. Twenty five years after the catastrophe, restriction orders remain in place in the production, transportation and consumption of food contaminated by Chernobyl fallout: in the UK, in parts of Sweden and Finland, in certain regions of Germany, Austria, Italy, Lithuania and Poland. The European Commission has stated that "The restrictions on certain foodstuffs from certain Member States must therefore continue to be maintained for many years to come. Estimates of the death toll vary within the ridiculously wide range from a few thousand to nearly a million, suggesting that many of the estimates were politically influenced or motivated.

Right now, tons of nuclear waste sit at the site of the Fukushima nuclear reactors, and enclosing the reactors by injecting lead and encasing them in concrete would make it safe to work and live a few kilometres away from the site, but is not a long-term solution for the disposal of spent fuel, which will decay and emit fission fragments over tens of thousands of years. Take the Fukushima Reactor No. 3 as an example, because it is fueled with Mox fuel uranium and plutonium. Plutonium has a half-life of 24,000 years, which means it is carcinogenic and mutagenic for up to 250,000 years, or 12,000 human generations.

There is simply no way to do a good job cleaning up such a mess. Chemically, radioactive material cannot be neutralized. It's basically a physical operation involving dispersion or isolation and time. Once the radiation is out, it is out, and there is no way to retrieve that which has been released into the atmosphere. Radioactive water can be dispersed in the ocean, but the best that can be done with the rest is to simply seal up the most radioactive material, stay away from the highly contaminated area adjacent to the facility, and avoid contaminated water and food.

The Exclusion Zone around Chernobyl has a radius of 18.6 miles, that is over 1,000 square miles. Land is much more valuable in Japan, so I expect the Japanese to be reluctant to abandon that much land.

Simply by pulling back the foreskin and washing there daily along with the rest of your body.

To correct what DGAF said, you do need to use soap. Not just run water over it.

It's all about hygiene brother. I am uncircumcised. I shower every day and pull back the skin and let the water clean it. I'm sensitive too, but a gentle soaping of your balls and penis (with the skin pulled back) should keep you clean "down there". It also improves your chances of getting oral sex!

If you can retract the foreskin the best way is to just run some warm water over the glans while wiping away any smegma.

The sensitivity will go away some once you start handling the glans more.

um eww...all my friends have foreskin and they've never ever had smegma, and neither have i
sorry, but that's kinda gross and you shouldn't have any...that means you've never washed

all you have to do is pull back and rub the head while water runs over it and dry the head afterwards, takes like 1 second

it has nothing to do with circumcision status it has more to do with you having poor hygiene and neglecting your junk, but i'm guessing youre from the US? *sigh*

There are a lot of things that SAY they will clean you system ... but they are a serious waste of time and money. Some of them might even be dangerous.

You don't say how much, or if you are an occasional user or a long time frequent user. Long time frequent user is screwed! THC is fat soluble, it gets stored in your fat cells. So even if you DO flush your system completely clean, your body will continue to metabolize the THC in your fat cells and dirty your system back up.

If you are a first time user or a very occasional user you might just slip through without any "cure". Depends on how much time you have before the test. Less than 10 days since you smoked, you are screwed, they will find it. 10 to 14 days ... your odds are getting better, and it just gets harder to detect from there.

Geez like ten people answered and hardly any of you gave this person a REAL ANSWER.

The guy didn't ask what your personal views on marijuana were. He wants to know how to clean marijuana out of the system.

"Stop taking it" is not even a logical response. He obviously already took it because it's already in his system, you morons! Stop the puritanical bullshit, it is WAY more lame than someone smoking a joint, if you ask me.

Anyway I assume you are facing a drug test. There are lots of drinks and potions and what not that you can find on the web (or the back of High Times magazine lol) but I've never tried any, so I wouldn't know if they are effective or not.

If it's a blood test, you're kind of screwed but it's most likely a piss test. In this case, your best bet may be to bring in someone else's pee (your friend, someone of the same age with no health problems and who is drug-free). If they make you pee in front of them, you could buy "The Urinator":

http://www.detoxforless.com/urine-test-device/urinator-urine-warmer.html

Though it's very pricey.

Another thing you could do that I've heard works is tell the "test administrator" that you have paruresis (also known as "bashful bladder syndrome") which means you have a fear of peeing in public. This might get you out of the test, or they may just let you bring the pee in, in which case just use your straightedge friend's pee!

Hope that helps.

Stop taking it..
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marijuana (THC,weed, pot) is the drug that is more likely to stay in your system for days, weeks, or even months after the last time that you smoke. Therefore, even though marijuana is one of the least harmful drugs out there, it is also the most likely drug to cause you to fail a drug test.

Compared to other controlled substances, THC is able to stay in a person's system for a relatively long period of time because it is fat-soluble. Being fat-soluble allows it to be stored in fatty tissues of various organs. From here, THC is slowly released and metabolized. This metabolite of THC is then excreted and cleared from a person's system.

Marijuana detox is a big problem if you're worried about a drug test in the near future. The reason for this is that if you leave it to happen naturally, marijuana detox takes a very long time (sometimes an entire month), and usually you don't get anywhere near that amount of warning before you're called in to take a drug test. However, if you need to detoxify quickly, ridding your body of THC, there are a few great Detoxifying Products for removing THC out of your system on the market that can help you getting THC out of your system.

Remedies used for a better effect are called marijuana detox programs. In generally, the work of these medication are based upon certain principles: it cleans your hair, urine and blood - the three main system parts where toxins are stored. They are made from all natural ingredients. They contain a unique combination of vitamins, minerals, and herbal cleansers that produce successful results .There are specific preparations which work only with hair, blood or urine, and also there are complex remedies, like detox kits which deal with all of them.

Those medications can be used even if you aren't a drug users - just to cleanse your system, and the courses can be repeated as man times as you want to.

For instance, most marijuana detox drinks only need you to take an hour or two out of your schedule to use. Essentially, a few hours before you have to go in to take your drug test, you should drink the marijuana detox drink. That is the way to removing TCH out of your system. After drinking the detoxifying formula, however, you also need to drink a lot of water. This water will help you to flush flush toxins and THC out of your system. Essentially, the drink makes the toxins leave your body quickly, but you will need to urinate frequently for the first hour or so after you use the drink just to make sure that you get all of the THC out of your system.

If you're worried about testing positive for marijuana, then you should definitely invest in some of the great Detoxifying Products for removing THC out of your system that will help you to test negative for marijuana use. This is due to the fact that it takes so long for the THC to leave your system that you'll probably test positive if you do not. If you don't have an entire month to wait before you need to take the test, then you should definitely think about some other options to keep from testing positive. Feel free to look at detox kits we are proud to offer you. We are trying to do our best to meet your interests.

If you're not sure how to tell whether or not the marijuana detox is working, then there are several things that you can do. First of all, you can also purchase a small drug testing kit. Purchase Drug Detection Kits Here This drug testing kit will allow you to test and make sure that you're no-longer testing positive for marijuana. Just detoxify, and then use the drug test kit to check your urine. After using the drink, it should come up negative.

However, marijuana detox is only a good idea if you're going to be taking a drug test in which you're not certain you'll be able to sneak in fake urine. The reason for this is that none of the smaller drug test kits are as accurate as the lab tests, and it's always possible that you could still have enough toxins in your urine. Synthetic urine is usually recommended if it is possible for you to use that method during your drug test. If you can't, however, just follow the instructions on the marijuana detox bottle, and you should be able to detoxify quickly and safely.

the THC stays in your system for at least 2 weeks, no matter what. drinking a lot wont help because its in your blood, not your pee. The only way to beat a test, is to squirt water up your penis/vagina, and then pee that water out, without getting too much actual pee into the cup.

i am the father of two beautiful children when i was younger i used to smoke lots of pot at least an ounce a day i was on probation for a 1 1/2 years i had to take 2 drug tests a week the day before my drug test i would drink 1 gallon of cranberry juice 2 gallons of water and take niacin (not flush free though) the thc is fat soluable so it sticks to your fat cells and will metabolize the niacin will burn everything that shouldnt be in your system off including the thc just be careful with the niacin it does burn the inside organs which means too much at a time can fry your brain, start with like 100 mg of niacin

Get a spray bottle or an old hair spray bottle and fill it with clean filtered water.

If you use a hair spray bottle, it MUST be totally clean.

Spray it at the bird. It will clean itself.

best way for parakeets is with a spray bottle (must be clean should have one just for this purpose) and mist him till his feathers are wet he will then preen him self dry. Some birds will sit under slow running tap water but i would most likely be too strong for a parakeet. another way it to place a small tub of water just enough to cover the bottom for him to bath in. most of my birds bath in there water dish on rainy days when i clean them in the morning. Try and keep the water dish clean at all times and he will bath him self in it as well.

Like another answerer said, check out budgie books---libraries usually have many titles to choose fr these days so you can check a few out and decide what to invest in. Here is a site that may be helpful: http://www.budgieplace.com/basic.html

I'm a little confused tho---a budgie shouldn't get allot of fecal material on them just doing regular budgie stuff in their cages. And getting into their water dish should have just the opposite effect, he should be getting cleaner not dirtier. Is the water cup contaminated w droppings? If it is you have to change it, don't ever leave budgie poo in the water dish. All my birds enjoy a gentle spray mist.

Your budgie will keep himself clean w/o the use of the family bathtub. If you decide to do the tub thing, close the toilet lid and plug sink/tub drains. Also, a flighted bird can land on a hot light fixture or bulb and get a serious burn. To a bird every last thing in your home is a place for landing---they don't know what is safe vs what can hurt them. Good luck.

I doubt it's dust or dirt. If it is, you won't be able to just clean it off. My guess is the fans bearings are dried out and you may have to replace the fan eventually.

Sometimes the wierd sound can be a fan brushing against the case, or the bearings in a fan going bad. The wierd noise is more than likely caused from that than being dirty.

You should be cleaning the inside of your notebook once in a while anyway. It'll allow more air circulation and keeps your notebook cool. If cleaning doesn't work, then it could be that your fan may need replacement. It could be due to issues with the bearings. As long as it's spinning okay and keeping your notebook cooled, keep it going. Once it stops working, you'll need to replace it before using your notebook. If it's annoying the hell out of out, replace it now.

????????????????
Here is how you clean a notebook:
????????????????

(1) Purchase a "compressed air canister", and an "LCD screen cleaning solution" with "microfiber cloth".

(2) Unplug the power cable and the battery. As long as you follow my instructions, you should be okay. So, don't worry about messing up your notebook.

(3) Open the back panel of your notebook. There is normally a small panel for your HDD and a larger panel for everything else. But, it defers from notebook to notebook and manufacturers. If you don't know how it opens up, take a look at your notebook's user's manual. You can find it on the Asus website as well. Touch your hands to something metal, e.g., a chair before touching the components inside to prevent static electricity from damaging the components. But, avoid touching any of the components all together if you don't have to.

(4) Blow air at all the components to get rid of the dust. Point the nozzle at the ventilation holes and blow air at it, so that the dust trapped in the ventilation hole mesh can get out of the notebook. WARNING: When cleaning the fan, hold the fan down with a pencil (to prevent it from spinning faster than it's supposed to) while you blow air at it. Otherwise, it'll break your fan. You will find junk stuck on the edges of the fan blade, use the back of the pencil to rub off those junk, and then blow it away. Make sure to hold the fan down when you blow air at it.

(5) Screw everything back on.

(6) Blow air into the spaces between the keyboard. Start from one side and blow it towards the other, so that the dust can get out one end.

(7) Clean your LCD screen with the cleaning solution you purchased. DO NOT use Windex or water to clean your screen. It'll seep into the screen and damage it.

(1) Purchase a "compressed air canister", and an "LCD screen cleaning solution" with "microfiber cloth".

(2) Unplug the power cable and the battery. As long as you follow my instructions, you should be okay. So, don’t worry about messing up your notebook.

(3) Open the back panel of your notebook. There is normally a small panel for your HDD and a larger panel for everything else. But, it defers from notebook to notebook and manufacturers. If you don’t know how it opens up, take a look at your notebook’s user’s manual. You can find it on the Asus website as well. Touch your hands to something metal, e.g., a chair before touching the components inside to prevent static electricity from damaging the components. But, avoid touching any of the components all together if you don’t have to.

(4) Blow air at all the components to get rid of the dust. Point the nozzle at the ventilation holes and blow air at it, so that the dust trapped in the ventilation hole mesh can get out of the notebook. WARNING: When cleaning the fan, hold the fan down with a pencil (to prevent it from spinning faster than it’s supposed to) while you blow air at it. Otherwise, it’ll break your fan.

It’ll seep into the screen and damage it.

????????????????

i would say turn off the computer and just do as much as you can, as fast as you can. Or, use facebook as a reward, tell yourself, "I cannot go back on facebook until this is clean!" and log off, or better yet have someone else change your password and not give it back until your room is clean! Good luck!

Try a product called the Amodex Ink and Stain remover. I found it in a recent article from Martha Stewart Living and this stuff is absolutely amazing. I bought it a few months ago and a couple weeks ago my son wrote on our family table with pen. The Amodex worked great and removed the entire stain. This stuff is like Stain Removal gold...especially if you are dealing with something nasty like inks. Hope this helps

It is crucial to know the type of leather you have before you try to remove ink from leather as some cleaners (particularly household cleaners ) etc can damage certain types of finish. Many leathers are not finished with a heavy top coat and can be much easier to damage if the wrong product is used.

Removing ink stains from leather is not a cleaning problem.

Most ink removal products will not work simply because of the length of time the ink has been on the leather.

Ink is a dye and has re-coloured the leather (this is what it is meant to do).
The longer the ink has been on the leather the harder it is to remove because it soaks into the finish. Once it has soaked into the finish you have to use very strong products to remove it, which will also remove finish and pigment which then need replacing.

Pigment/Protected leather

If the ink stain is on a pigmented leather then the first thing you should try is an Ink Removing Gel specifically formulated for leather. (do not use household cleaners like Goo Gone or Krud Kutter which may damage some leather finishes permanently). The fresher the ink the more chance you have of removing it. It is a good idea to have one in your house if you have pale leather and children!!!!

Old ink stains will be harder to remove than a new ink stain and may mean resorting to solvents which will also remove the finish. This is probably best left to the experts.
If an ink stick doesn't work a solvent based remover will need to be used and it may also remove finish and pigment so is best left to the experts.

You should also be using a very good quality leather protect on your leather. This will act like a 'scotchgard' and will make any more mishaps easier to clean off.

You will see many people recommending household products to remove ink – this is not recommended as most simply will not work, some may appear to work but the damage they cause can make a much bigger problem which is then un-repairable (even by a technician).

Aniline Style Leather
As aniline style leathers are largely absorbent it means that the ink will have soaked straight into the leather itself. This makes it impossible to remove. No product will successfully remove the ink.

DO NOT try ink removing products on aniline style leathers as most will leave a greasy residue which will then cause another problem.

Because aniline style leathers are absorbent the ink will carry on moving through the leather and may become less obvious over time. Cleaning and protecting will also help to dissipate the ink.

DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING ON INK STAINS:
Household cleaners that have not been professionally tested on leather as these are very likely to damage the finish on the leather and will make it much more costly to fix.
Hairspray - This is very risky as it can make the matter far worse by spreading the ink over a bigger area and can sometimes then be impossible to fix.
Nail Varnish remover/solvents - will remove the finish on the leather even if you cannot tell it is doing so and this will then need replacing, and alcohol may do the same depending on the strength of the finish on the leather.
Baby wipes - just about the worst thing you can use on a leather as they break down the finish and will eventually ruin it.
Milk or Toothpaste - these are just silly ideas that will leave sticky residues on the surface which will help to break down the finish on your leather.
Silicones/furniture polish - should not be used on leather. They will form a coating on the surface of the leather which will not allow any moisture to get to the leather itself and will eventually break all the finish down and cause it to crack.
Hide food - will not remove ink and will leave residues on the leather which will attract dirt and oils.

Most leather cleaners will not remove ink unless a very good leather protector has been used on a regular basis!!.

Hope this helps

Good answer below but I would fill it with water and make sure that everything is working before adding chemicals.
After it runs for an hour, take a clean jar and fill it with the spa's water and take it to your pool/spa store. They will test the water and give you instructions on how and what to put in the spa. Enjoy and don't sit longer than 15 mins. if the temp. is 103. You can pass out if you stay in too long.

there should be a drain plug somewhere near the bottom probably on a side at the front.
then yes, clean it w/ a mild antifungal, i use tilex.
then fill it and use the chemicles which go w/ it. a local spa store will have these as well as recommendations and possibly a way to test your water to suggest a start up formula for your chemicles.
then you test it about once a week until you know how it is going to stay maintained and emty and refill about every 2-4 months.

If you really want to makes sure it is done correctly, take it to the dry cleaners. Then you can be certain it will be cleaned and not damaged. Especially anything as valuable as a Packers jersey! Lets hope that is a superbowl winning qb jersey this season! 12-4 and a win in the superbowl over the Ravens!
