Before the moving day, you should ensure that the prospective home will fit with your dog. Big dogs can be bulky, so if there are a lot of tight corners, then they might get hurt or knock off knick knacks. More importantly, though, is the external area. Will there be a good place for him to get good exercise and socialization? If you take these things into consideration, it is likely that he will become happy in his new home.

Your pet may or may not be accustomed to long travel, so you might want to visit your vet and discuss the move with her.
