1. “Bye” – While this might seem like an odd opening line, keep in mind it works in the right situations. For instance, if you go to school or work with someone you are interested in meeting but are not sure how to approach her, the “Goodbye” works well. In this case, when you leave, you simply say “Bye”, which could then be followed by a quick introduction or something like “Have a good evening”. From there, the ice is broken, making it easier to open a conversation on another day.

1. “I couldn’t help but notice you” – As long as you do not go into some cheesy line here, a nice compliment can be a great opening line. In this case, you would need to follow the compliment with something like, “Seriously, you’re very pretty” or “You just have such a gorgeous smile/eyes.” Remember, compliments said with earnest can be detected by a woman opposed to those said solely for getting a phone number. Therefore, be honest with your compliment!

1. “May I buy you a drink?” If you are in a bar or club offering to buy a woman a drink is fine. If she says yes, then you can proceed by introducing yourself but if she says no, just politely bow out with “Okay”. If you are interested in the woman, then you could proceed with conversation even if the drink offer was denied.

1. “Do you have any raisins”? – When you hear the response “no”, you say, “Okay, then how about a date?” Chances are the woman will smile, which gives you a perfect opening.

1. “You dropped something” – At the response of “what”, you can say, “My jaw”.

* “Are you looking for a new friend” – Most people love having new friends so this is usually a good way to get a good conversation started.
