What with the current world financial climate consumers are looking for a good summer holiday at affordable prices. Being only two and a half hours away from the United Kingdom, Spain has the edgefor tourists. We recommend holidaying in Andalucia as an attractive region, and in particular in the area known as the Costa del Sol.
The Costa Del Sol also known by many as the Costa Del Golf due to the abundance of excellent golf courses which means lots of green spaces. The Costa Del Sol is some 154 km long and stretches from 54 km to the east of Malaga to the Cadiz province in the west. Weather wise the area has an average of 11-12 hours of daily sunshine in the summer with the average temperature being 31-33 degrees centigrade with little or no rainfallto be expected.
For a choice of Calahonda apartments, we can recommend holidaying at Las Palmeras de Calahonda, which is a newly built apartment complex just 25 minutes from Malaga International Airport with Gibraltar International Airport being only one hour away, and it is even less if you take the toll road! Calahonda is set against a backdrop of mountains, pretty undulating hills and scenic valleys which meet the jewelled Mediterranean Sea.
If you do not wish to drive to the apartment, then instead a taxi from Malaga International Airport will only cost approximately 50 Euros.
